Christina Norström Blankstein combines realistic and abstract components in her work, which in mainly figurative with strong expressive colours.The human body in repose and movement is a central theme and considering that she started her artistic career as a portrait painter  this is  a logical development  of her career. She partly gets her inspiration from the rugged and magnificent landscape of the state of Arizona  with it´s intense colours . The art of  ballet and modern dance is another source of inspiration and dancers are often the subject of her paintings.Christina Norström Blankstein was born and raised in Sweden. She studied  at the university of Geneva Switzerland and later moved to United States where she lived in various places, she considers Arizona as home and it is here that her family resides.For the moment she lives and works in Berlin Germany

Christina Norström Blankstein kombiniert realistische und abstakte Komponenten in ihrer Arbeit, die in starke expressive Farben hauptsächlich figurativ ist. Der menschliche Körper, in Ruhe und Bewegung, ist ein zentrales Thema und wenn man daran denkt, dass sie ihre künstlerische  Karriere als Portrait Malerin angefangen hat, ist das eine logische Entwicklung ihrer Karriere. Sie holt zum Teil ihre Inspiration von der kargen und grandiosen Landschaft Arizonas mit ihren  intensiven Farben. Ballett und moderner Tanz ist eine andere Quelle von Inspiration und Tänzer sind oft vorkommend in ihren Bildern. Christina Norström Blankstein ist in Schweden geboren und aufgewachsen ,sie hat ihr Universitätsstudium in Genf abgeschlossen. Später ist sie in die  Vereinigten Staaten umgezogen, wo sie an verschiedenen Plätzen gewohnt hat. In Arizona fühlt sie sich immer noch zuhause und hier hat sie auch ihre Familie. Momentan hat sie ihren Wohnsitz in Berlin.

Christina Norström Blankstein  combine le réaliste avec l’abstrait dans son travail ce qui est pour la plus part figurative avec des couleurs intensives et expressives. Le corps humain , en repos et en mouvement , est un thème central et quand on y pense , qu’elle a commencé sa carrière artistique comme peintre de portrait ,ceci est un développement logique de sa carrière. Elle trouve son inspiration dans le paysage sauvage et accidenté d’Arizona, avec  ses couleurs intensives. Le ballet et la danse moderne est une autre source d’inspiration et des danseurs sont souvent le sujet de ses peintures. Christina Norström Blankstein est née et élevée en Suède. Elle a fait ses études universitaires à Genève.Elle a habité en États Unis dans des endroits différents. Elle se sent toujours à la maison en Arizona, ou réside sa famille. Pour le moment elle est domiciliée à Berlin.
